TapCo is Vancouver Tap Dance Society's Youth Performance Ensemble that stages show-stopping performances and classes to hundreds of enthusiastic and highly attentive young people every year at schools, children's festivals and other venues.
We have had TapCo at our school three times over the last number of years and every time they put on a high energy and highly engaging show. It has been a pleasure to host such an entertaining group who demonstrates that young performers can be true professionals. Todd Millway, Performance Committee, Sir Alexander Mackenzie Elementary
TapCo completely delighted our audience. I most certainly recommend this group to the ArtStarts community. Michael Cade, Executive Director, Chilliwack Cultural Centre

This talented ensemble of dancers, ages 12 to 17, are the heartbeat of TapCo, paying tribute to the masters of tap and presenting cutting-edge rhythm tap. TapCo's breathtaking performances include classic routines such as "The Hoofers Line" and Dr Harold Cromer's "Opus One", as well as work by international artists commissioned by the Vancouver Tap Dance Society, ranging from traditional to smooth flash, funk and swing. At your request, our 45-minute show is followed by a tap class for 30-35 students - we bring the shoes!
