ArtStarts Showcase and Conference 2013
The ArtStarts Showcase and Conference 2013 took place from February 27 to March 1 and from start to finish, it was a lot of fun — and by all accounts, a great success.
Delegates discovered 30 of the finest performing artists through sample presentations of their touring shows. The artists represented a mix of disciplines and cultural traditions.
Throughout the event, we heard from delegates who were enthralled and energized by the performances they saw. One delegate called the ArtStarts Showcase and Conference "the best young audience showcase in the country."
Most importantly, delegates were inspired to bring the arts into their schools and communities for young people to experience for themselves.
