You're Invited to the Opening Event for At the Intersection: Where Art and Education Meet

Please join us to celebrate the opening of At the Intersection: Where Art and Education Meet at the ArtStarts Gallery!

Saturday, May 9, 2015, 2–4pm 
at the ArtStarts Gallery 
808 Richards Street, Vancouver

Explore the new exhibition of young people’s art and look forward to:

• Greetings and introduction by ArtStarts Executive Director Navida Nuraney, who will talk about the experience of the six artists and six schools that were part of the Infusion Cohort program presented in the exhibition.
• Exhibition overview by ArtStarts Gallery curator Juliana Bedoya.
• Meet other artists and educators and learn more about arts integration in action.
• Meet artist Cathy Stubington who will talk about her experience as one of the Infusion Teaching Artists in BC's Interior. She will also teach us how to 
  make delicious butterfly sandwiches inspired by one of the projects 
  presented in the gallery.
• Help create a collaborative polka dot art installation and leave a mark that 
  will contribute to the transformation of the gallery entrance.
