Open House for New Park at Smithe and Richards
Planning for the new park on our block is well underway—and we couldn't be more excited.
The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation held a meeting at our space earlier this week to share the current design with a group of interested parties, including us, local businesses, residents and others. The design they presented included so many fantastic elements, such as flexible and evolving spaces, multiple layers and experiences, and a space that is both introspective and socially dynamic.
We don't want to give too much away here... You'll have a chance to see the park design for yourself and give your feedback soon!
You're invited to an Open House at the ArtStarts Gallery (808 Richards Street) on Tuesday, April 19. Drop in anytime between 4:30pm and 8:30pm.
If you are unable to attend, the display panels will be available to view online after the open house. Also, there will have a survey available online for two weeks following the event.

It's incredible to see this vision being brought to life. We can't wait to see it turn into a real space we can all enjoy.
