Reminder! Upcoming Deadlines for BC Schools to Apply for Arts Grants
It's deadline season for grants!
We have several deadlines coming up soon. We encourage teachers and schools across British Columbia to apply for these grants to support the arts in education. Here are some key dates to note:
- Apply by October 17, 2014:
Arts in Education Council of BC Fund offers grants of up to $500 for educators or schools to support professional development for K-12 educators in British Columbia, to increase teachers’ appreciation of the arts. Apply now at artstarts.com/aiecbc - Apply by October 23, 2014:
Artists in the Classroom Grants bring professional artists into your classroom for unique learning experiences. Grants of up to $3,500 for small- to medium-scale projects or up to $10,000 for large-scale projects are available. Apply now at artstarts.com/aic - Apply by November 21, 2014:
Cherniavsky’s ‘Mr. Music’ Fund offers matching grants of up to $500 to assist schools in purchasing tickets for students to attend quality live performances of classical and traditional music, opera or ballet. Apply now at artstarts.com/cherniavsky
