Once again, kids, parents and grandparents joined us for another successful Saturday event featuring the dynamic and playful, Major Conrad Flapps. His“Traffic Safety Show” parodies hip-hop and rap as Flapps demonstrates the right and wrong ways to cross the street.
This workshop was part of the ArtStarts on Saturdays series, which takes place on the last Saturday of the month at our downtown gallery and feature some of BC's top children's performers.
Many thanks to the TELUS Vancouver Community Board and Leon and Thea Koerner Foundation for their generous sponsorship of the series as well as the BC Arts Council and The Province of BC.
Join us next month for a performance by SWARM, Vancouver's original hyper-kinetic percussion troupe.
