Welcome to Our New Grants Manger, Emily Beam!
Please join us in welcoming Emily Beam to the ArtStarts team!
With a background in granting and lending to non-profit organizations, Emily is well-versed in stewarding funding programs, with the aim of supporting meaningful projects and experiences. As ArtStarts' new Grants Manger, Emily will be overseeing many of our grants for schools and artists, such as Artists in the Classroom grants, Cherniavsky's 'Mr. Music' Fund, Arts in Education Council of BC Fund and NSG Creative Spark grants.
Emily has felt connected to the arts from a young age, and knows first-hand the impact the arts can have. In her words, "The arts helped me learn who I was, what I was capable of, how to process my surroundings and how to express myself as an individual."
Emily is excited to be a part of ArtStarts' small and collaborative team. She is looking forward to connecting with artists and educators across the province.
