Welcome to Interim Executive Director, Lia Dicicco!

We are pleased to announce that ArtStarts' Board of Directors has selected Lia Dicicco to assume the position of Interim Executive Director while Executive Director Navida Nuraney takes maternity leave, effective June 29, 2015.

Lia has been part of the ArtStarts team for 7 years, most recently as Director of Finance and Administration. Lia is dedicated to ArtStarts' mission and vision, and passionate about providing young people across the province with opportunities to experience the arts.

"ArtStarts in Schools is an organization I am very proud to be a part of," says Lia. "My business and not-for-profit experience, along with my 14 years of involvement with the BC school system, has culminated in this opportunity. I look forward to leading this amazing organization, and working with our talented staff and volunteers and our dedicated Board of Directors. As a mother of two daughters myself, I know how quickly time flies with a new baby and I look forward to working with Navida again when she returns."

We welcome Lia into this leadership role, and wish Navida and her growing family all the best in the year ahead.

Alice Ko is also joining the ArtStarts team as Manager of Finance during this period.
