Welcome to Our New Manager of Finance, Alice Ko!
Please join us in welcoming Alice Ko to the ArtStarts team!
Alice Ko joins the ArtStarts team as Manager of Finance, taking on financial duties while Director of Finance and Administration Lia Dicicco takes on the leadership role of Interim Executive Director.
Alice is a designated Chartered Accountant with a degree in Business from the University of Victoria. She has a great deal of experience under her belt, having worked in the worlds of business and fashion. Alice also has expertise in digital marketing, most recently as a Digital Media Strategist for Ballet BC.
The arts have always been an important part of Alice's life. Reflecting on where art started for her, Alice recalls the many musicals put on by her Elementary school, in which she happily acted, sang and danced. When she later found herself living in New York City as an adult, she was thrilled to have the opportunity to see her fill of Broadway productions and connect to her childhood experiences on stage.
Alice is looking forward to being a part of a team that works collaboratively and is excited to contribute her skills to help ArtStarts grow and thrive.
