Welcoming Keiko into her new role at ArtStarts

We're happy to welcome Keiko into the role of Residencies + Exhibitions Manager. Keiko first joined the ArtStarts team as the Communications Coordinator in 2010 and as of June 2011, has taken over management of the Artists in Education 2 program as well as the management and curation of our wonderful gallery.
Keiko loves her work!
Having benefited from an art-full upbringing herself, Keiko is thrilled to now support the connecting of young people in schools across the province with professional artists through the Artists in Education 2 program. She also loves the opportunity to be on ArtStarts' "front lines", working one-on-one with the artists and teachers on a daily basis, not to mention bringing the ArtStarts gallery to life with the artwork created by students through the AIE2 program.
With a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Keiko brings first hand experience and understanding gained through the practice of art to her new role.
