Back to school! It's a busy time of year and teachers' imaginations are overflowing with ideas about how activate their classrooms in the year ahead. As BC teachers know firsthand, embracing the arts is effective and exciting way to make a positive impact on the way students engage with learning.
ArtStarts helps schools bring their creative ideas to life with grants that support arts in education. Here are three grants that BC teachers can apply for this Fall, to support their endeavours in the 2016-17 school year...
1. Artists in the Classroom Grants
Artists in the Classroom grants bring professional artists into schools for rich and memorable learning experiences. Grants of up to $3,500 for small to medium scale projects and grants of up to $10,000 for large scale projects are available.
