Take a Closer Look is a visually-dynamic one-woman show that delivers a message of acceptance through urban dancing, clowning, miming, contact juggling and multimedia. Dianna is a member of the highly elite LOL Dance Crew. Estrude de Bompoof, a quirky, unsuspectingly talented individual, has arrived from the Philippines. As a Canadian-born-Filipino, Dianna struggles to accept Estrude's differences. An unlikely friendship forms, and Dianna is forced to re-evaluate her perspective when she becomes peer-pressured into putting Estrude in her place.
