Reviews

The play was filled with imagination, emotions, comedy, sound effects... All adapted to children. Set and strike was convenient, everything was well organised and managed! Students enjoyed, thank you a lot! Grade 3/4 teacher
Theme of the play was on the agenda. Language used took into account the recipient: students. They had a good reaction to the play and asked lots of questions at the end and even after in the classroom. Actrices were confident, professional and well prepared. Music and set were appropriate and helped to put a context. Thank you so much for taking the time to come visiting us, it's really appreciated! Grade 7/8 teacher

Le´nai¨que la Magnifique cries every day in order to nourish the dragon-fruit that grow in the orchard, on the peninsula. One Sunday like any other Sunday, the young woman goes to the market on the mainland to sell her precious produce. There, she meets Bre´valaire Spectaculaire, a fine "knitter of allegorical tuques". In an instant, within both of them, the dizzy feeling of an inextricable love is born. A true masterpiece of inventiveness, the play is characterized by a language as vibrant as it is picturesque. Combining storytelling, improvisation, poetry and song, Avant l'Archipel (Countries Shaped Like Stars) transforms the audience members into active witnesses of the emotional upheaval linked to the first amorous stir. Set up for the performance requires four hours and strike requires two hours.

The earth is quickly warming up, ice caps are melting, the number of endangered species - 16,306 - keeps increasing; Élise is learning all of this in science classes. Frightened and outraged, Élise also feels guilty. What can she do to prevent the utter destruction of the environment? With the help of her friend Amal, Élise undertakes an incredible science project to save the planet and prevent a mass extinction. It is just about finding the perfect idea...without neglecting her friend Théo. This seems like an almost impossible mission; can they succeed? Élise contre l'extinction totale is a much needed play in tune with current environmental issues. Starring Élise, a rebellious and dynamic young girl, this play explores friendship and teamwork to remind us that everyone - without any age limit - can act for the planet.

Simon tries his utmost to stand out, and to liven up the boredom of his daily existence. He wants to sing, but his voice isn?t good enough: he wants to dance, but he got signed up for hockey instead. Nothing turns out as expected: his faith breaks, his voice breaks, his heart breaks? yet in spite of it all, amid all the turmoil of adolescence, he learns to love himself the way he is. Chronicling Simon?s inward journey from awkward kid to Prince Charming with great tenderness and humour, Simon a toujours aimé danser is about the importance of expressing yourself and achieving your potential through your passions in life. The play draws on a wide range of cultural references, bridging the gap between Nobel Prize-winning authors and Disney movies, between classical and pop, between ballet and music videos.
