Updates on the ArtStarts Board of Directors

ArtStarts in Schools has undergone several organizational transitions since 2020, including saying goodbye to our board members Mary Blais, Theodora Lamb, and Edwin Yau.

ArtStarts thanks them for their contributions to the ArtStarts Board over the years, including: hiring our Interim Executive Director and supporting operations in 2020, developing our strategic plan, and their commitment to the anti-oppression mandate of ArtStarts. Best wishes to Mary, Theo, and Edwin! 

The ArtStarts Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Mumtaz Chaudhary, Amal Rana, Kevin Ly, and Frances Yip. We are grateful to Gary Wang, who will be staying on in the role of Past President and Chair. Many thanks to Gary for his continuing support as he enters his seventh year of service on the ArtStarts Board, and for the rich organizational history he brings with him, which the Board can continue to develop as ArtStarts moves its mission forward. Together, Gary, Frances, Kevin, Amal, and Mumtaz will be integral in stewarding ArtStarts as we implement our 2020 to 2024 Strategic Plan.
