ArtStarts in Schools is a charitable organization that expands the role of art in education to activate learning for young people. By providing young people with access to arts-integrated learning experiences at school, we develop a generation that has the creative, collaborative and innovative skills necessary to live, lead and thrive in the 21st century.
ArtStarts is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team for a one year contract starting late August 2018. This position enables access to the performing arts for young people across BC by nurturing relationships with all 62 school districts across BC and working with up to 100 different artist groups. The Program Coordinator also supports our annual ArtStarts Showcase – Western Canada's most important performing arts showcase and conference for school and community arts programmers interested in booking performances for young audiences. This position reports to the Program Manager.

This is a regular full-time position (35 hours/week) with a regular Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm schedule. The salary range is $40,000 – $44,000, based on experience. Additional benefits include three weeks of vacation, a professional development allowance, and extended health and dental benefits.
