Reminder! Apply for Artists in the Classroom Grants by May 28, 2015

There's just one week left to submit your applications for Artists in the Classroom grants! Teachers, principals and PAC representatives from schools across British Columbia are invited to apply for funding to support professional artists working with young people in the classroom. The deadline to apply is May 28, 2015, for projects that take place during the 2015/2016 school year.

Artists in the Classroom grants support projects that put students in direct contact with professional artists to support rich learning experiences in the classroom.

AIC grants support projects in schools across BC that demonstrate artistic excellence, strong curricular connections, high levels of student engagement and an active partnership between an educator and a professional artist.

Grants of up to $3,500 for small to medium scale projects, and grants of up to $10,000 for large scale projects are available.

Lots of questions arise as you refine your project, and you might be wondering if your idea is eligible for funding. So we've developed a quiz to help you determine if your project is a good candidate for an Artists in the Classroom grant.

Take the Artists in the Classroom Eligibility Quiz today!

If you still have questions, be sure to read the AIC FAQ and visit artstarts.com/aic for more information and project lists of previously funded residencies.
