DinoCats are an energetic kindie rock band. They love playing wild songs about community inclusion, social justice, and having a lot of fun! DinoCats have shared their original music at Blessed Coast festival, EarthDance Vancouver, and for all the children of the internet. -- Dustin Quasar Sacks is the DinoCats principle song-writer, a committed father, and a really silly guy. He studied drums and percussion from a young age, eventually moving into guitar, singing and composing. He works with kids in art and music learning at after-school programs in East Vancouver. He also works as a men's group facilitator, and is passionate about sharing all the lessons learned to the kids through the transformational power of music. -- Anessa Lang rocks the saxophone, sings, and busts out epic zany dance moves! She started studying music at the age of 10 and continued all the way through the University of Victoria. Anessa is now a professional saxophone player, performing in multiple bands with diverse genres, including jazz, reggae, blues, rock and pop. She is skilled at many brass and woodwind instruments as well as her shining voice. Anessa is a key part of the famous Vancouver circus band "Blackberry Wood" whom have toured extensively, both in Canada and internationally. She also teaches saxophone and tutors kids in music skills. -- DinoCats are dedicated to spreading love, peace, and equality through the power of music!

Saxophone, guitar, singing, dancing, humour, and fun music with a message! DinoCats bring a high energy interactive concert, focused on connecting with kids. Many of their songs have easy sing-along choruses, often with powerful messages of justice and positivity. Some songs are very danceable, with actions and animal embodiment. -- DinoCats love to play a mix of fun silly songs, along with more serious focused tunes that speak to the deep concerns of the modern world: kindness / anti-bullying, climate change and standing up for what's right. DinoCats are all about inviting kids to join the fun, learn to sing their truth and become part of the music! -- DinoCats have a varied set list, and can bring a more light-hearted silly concert for younger kids, or a slightly more edgy set for older kids. They play mostly original songs, with a few classic kids cover songs as well. -- Dustin plays guitar and sings. Anessa plays saxophone and sings. They both wear animal ears and have a lot of fun engaging with kids! DinoCats are on a mission to change the world, through the positive power of music.
