Gérald Laroche is an internationally known harmonica virtuoso, musician, composer and storyteller. A Juno award-winner, his music combines elements of jazz, blues, African rhythms, traditional French Canadian and world music. He has performed in North America, Africa and Europe, where he has been called a "nouveau storyteller". He has brought his magical performances to young audiences for the past 40 years.

Fifty harmonicas plus whistles, mouth bows, foot drums and electro-acoustic techniques are used to create Gérald Laroche's magical soundscapes which frame his fanciful stories inspired by his French and Métis history and background and his many travels throughout Canada and abroad.
