A voice of singular loveliness and one sweet, sunny song after another make this new album by Canadian folksinger/songwriter/guitarist Gina Lam, known professionally as Ginalina, an occasion to savor. Joined by a host of first-class musicians, with family as her celebratory theme, Lam (Sandcastle Magic, Forest Friends' Nature Club Album) sings that home can be a country ranch, a cave, a castle, a boat, a nest, a burrow, but "of all the things that home can be, home is family." ... Lam's appreciation for nature, too, threads through her work, and her respect for her young audience shines throughout. Parents' Choice Awards (Gold)
Ginalina was wonderful... A genuine performer who connects with her audience... Faces lit up in the audience as she told her stories through song. Paul McIntyre Royston, President and CEO, Calgary Public Library Foundation
