"Just Us" is a multidisciplinary collaboration between two LGBTQ2SIA+, artists, Jojo Zolina (he/they) and Della Kit (fka Erica Dee, she/her). Jojo is a choreographer and dancer of Filipino-Canadian descent, while Della is a singer, DJ, MC, & producer of Jewish-Italian heritage. With over 15 years of experience performing and teaching, they aim to challenge boundaries and ignite transformation through creative expression. "Just Us" featuring Jojo Zolina & Della Kit is an interactive dance, singing, and music performance-workshop. During the show, they share their journey as professional performing artists, expressing how their artistry has been a catalyst for self-love and acceptance. They teach techniques for freestyle singing and dancing, while sharing accessible activities for self-discovery and voice-empowerment. Teaching the history of different street dances like Voguing, Waacking, Disco, and House , they pay tribute to their origins and importance in the LGBTQ2SIA+ communities in the 1960's until now. This show is the first of it's kind to be performed in schools! It's an invitation into a creative playground, both motivational and inspirational. Together Jojo and Della have co-create a space where everyone is accepted and belongs. A place to empower young people to follow their dreams, speak their truths, express & accept themselves as who they are, feel free to wear whatever they feel comfortable in and most importantly stay fabulous!

"Just Us", the live show, has been created to share the importance of voice and body empowerment through the expression of music and dance. With creativity we are able to break gender stereotypes and explore the different sides of ourselves. This dynamic performance blends elements of Voguing and Waacking with Hip-Hop, House and Soul Music. "Just Us" shares history about the origins of these dance styles and the importance of the LGBTQ2S+ communities. They know that through art we are able to transform our challenges and frustrations into a positive outcome. The show is engaging and interactive and offers opportunities for students to participate both on stage and in the audience. "Just Us" aims to encourage people to express themselves, be fabulous and find their own unique voice.
