Crisis on Planet Z! is an environmental, science-fiction play for young audiences. Zephyr lives on Planet Z, the only planet they have ever known. Their alien species, the Alphabetians are celebrating 100 years of being on Planet Z when Zephyr makes a HORRIFYING DISCOVERY: they haven’t been ‘improving’ the planet, they have been slowly destroying it! With the help of a baby Ziffle... and a mushroom, Zephyr tries to warn the Alphabetians, but they are ready to abandon Planet Z and blast off to the next planet. Little do they know, there is no next planet: Planet Z is the LAST PLANET in their solar system! Together, the Alphabetians must account for their actions and find a way to SAVE PLANET Z.
"Keeps the audience in stitches from beginning to end! Fantastic performance!" 4.5 Stars -Winnipeg Free Press
We just watched the Monster Theatre presentation. The staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the program! The acting and singing was excellent as was the humour and comedy which was presented to us. We would welcome them back to our school again. Collingwood Neighbourhood School
We all loved the performance by Monster Theatre. The actors were so engaging and personable. One teacher said she was laughing so much that she almost fell off her chair. The teachers were impressed with the different levels of jokes and humour. The actors were tremendoud and the kids were interested the whole time. Hazelgrove Elementary, Surrey
