Donate a Story to A Good Book Drive!
A Good Book Drive is an annual book drive to bring stories to a new generation of readers, and support kids in need of new books. We aim to raise 3,000 books in 30 days and inspire reading and writing skills for the kids who need it most.
A Good Book Drive runs from November 1 to 30, 2014. Here's how YOU can help:
- Purchase a new copy of your favourite kids' book.
- Drop off your book at the ArtStarts Gallery (808 Richards St at Robson, Vancouver) during the month of November.
- Personalize your donation with a bookplate (available at the ArtStarts Gallery), sharing your own story of why that book is special to you.
- Books will be donated to the children's literacy program, One to One, which provides one-to-one tutoring to children in elementary schools during regular school hours.
The ArtStarts Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. Stop by to drop off your book!
