Last Saturday, the ArtStarts Gallery was banging, booming and bouncing!
No surprise, considering the room was full of drums… and dozens of hands ready to create a beat.
Milton Randall was the latest guest at our ArtStarts on Saturdays series, where he led an amazing drumming workshop with kids of all ages—and grown ups, too.
Milton taught us drumming rhythms from around the world, from Cuba to Nigeria, as well as the “universal beat.” He also shared stories about his drumming adventures in Africa.
A great time was had by all. Many of us left the gallery with our heads full of rhythms and the inspiration to beat our own drums.
See you next month, on Saturday June 30th, for ArtStarts on Saturdays with Gogo Bonkers!
ArtStarts thanks Boeing for their generous support of the ArtStarts on Saturday series.
