Getting Creative with Vancouver Draw Down

In the countdown to Vancouver Draw Down on Saturday, June 15, the whole ArtStarts team is taking part in daily drawing challenges.

Visit Vancouver Draw Down's website or Facebook page each day from June 5 to 14 to find out the daily drawing challenge and join in the fun!

We're looking forward to hosting a Draw Down event here at ArtStarts on Saturday, June 15: The nano-GIGANTIC Drawing Experiment! We'll be playing with small/big, tiny/huge, microscopic/jumbo-mega-humungous... you get the idea.

Most everything in nature has a habit of starting out at a microscopic level and then, all of sudden BANG! Even an idea starts small before it erupts into something huge and amazing!

Join us at the ArtStarts Gallery at 808 Richards (at Robson) from noon to 4pm on Saturday, June 15. Admission is free and all ages are welcome. We have lots of fun activities planned. Celebrate the big and the small things in nature!

While you're at the Gallery, you'll also have the chance to check out Botanimalogy: Expressions of Nature, ArtStarts' current exhibition, in which students from different schools across the province explore nature’s imprints through analog camera-less photography, express their identity through animal symbolism and demonstrate multiple concerns for the natural environment showcasing their own short films.
