Join us this weekend and you'll be captivated by stories—which take shape before your eyes!
Anne Glover's hilarious stories feature mind-bending figures that she weaves out of a loop of string. A turtle, a snake, a bird, a rocket… is there anything she can't make? You've never heard a story told like this, and a simple shoelace will never look the same! This workshop is ideal for ages 4 and up.
Anne Glover has spent years enchanting audiences with her stories and string games and inspiring educators with her innovative approaches to education. Anne has appeared at countless schools, festivals and conferences across the continent, and has performed her original stories on CBC radio, in both English and French. She is a polished, engaging entertainer with a humourous wisdom and an infectious enthusiasm for life in any language.
Take part in Anne Glover's workshops either in Vancouver or in New Westminster:
Admission is free. No registration necessary, but do come early as this is a popular program. Each 45-minute workshop takes place twice, at 11am and 1pm. This workshop is recommended for ages 4 and up, but all are welcome!
