Have you ever wondered what it takes to mount a gallery exhibition?
Here's a fun behind-the-scenes look at some of the creativity, craft and craziness that went into the installation of our new exhibition, Timescapes.
Timescapes: Local Connections and Natural Indicators of Time is open at the ArtStarts Gallery until August 30, 2014. This exhibition showcases how students across BC examined how time is marked in the natural world through explorations in felt, clay, printmaking and other artistic mediums. Also grounded in language arts, these explorations enabled students to develop a deep understanding of natural cycles and their relevance to their own communities.
The ArtStarts Gallery is located in downtown Vancouver at 808 Richards Street, at Robson Street, Vancouver. The gallery is open Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
