Visit Opus Granville Island for a Creative Boost
This holiday season, our friends at Opus Granville Island are holding a fundraising campaign in support of ArtStarts.
Throughout December, Opus is encouraging customers to support ArtStarts by donating at the till. Opus is then matching their customers' generosity by providing ArtStarts with gift cards, which we can use to purchase art supplies for our programs. Amazing!
On Saturday, I had the pleasure of stopping in to meet the staff at Opus. They are a friendly, enthusiastic and clearly creative group.
It is such an inspiring store… wander down any aisle and you’ll likely be tempted to pick up some supplies – or take up yet another art practice. We ended up leaving with a stack of linoleum for a Grade 4/5 class project to make block prints for holiday cards.
Be sure to stop by Opus Granville Island this holiday season. Art materials are always make a great gift to spark creativity… and there's still enough time before Christmas to pick up some supplies to make your own presents!
