Since joining the team in February 2012, Terri Anne has been building and managing the new Infusion: Arts in Education program assumed by ArtStarts in December 2011.
Her experience as an educator and educational manager in both the public and private sectors provides valuable insights to the program and to the organization as a whole. Over the past few months she has been instrumental in activating the program launch and making positive contributions to the organization's goals of advocating for the importance of art in education.
In her previous position as Academic Director of Digital Film and Video Program at the Art Institute of Vancouver, Terri Anne hired, trained, developed and led a team of educators while supporting the development of a film program unique to BC with a focus on promoting student engagement. Through her experience as an educator in the K-12 system, she engaged in the creation and implementation of several arts integration activities utilizing digital film making as a medium. Terri Anne is currently nearing completion of a Masters Degree in Arts Education at SFU. She is passionate about helping students find their voice through the arts.
