Event Format Changes
  • For Showcase 2022 we introduced Workshops as a new format for Showcasing artists. We are continuing with this new format and are excited to welcome 4 new workshops for this year's Showcase event.
  • Also in 2022 we introduced ArtStarts Connects - a chance for delegates to have short "speed-date" like conversations with artists on the ArtStarts Directory. This is an opportunity to get to know more about artists work, for artists to learn about your school district and your experience as an educator, and to find new ways to connect art with education opportunities! We are continuing ArtStarts Connects in 2023.
We continue to highlight arts integrated, educational performances and workshop pitches from over 20 artists across BC and Canada! We look forward to seeing you at Showcase this year.

All workshops are run by professional artists from across BC who work in schools on longer term Classroom Residencies that are often funded by the Artists in the Classroom (AIC) grant.
