If you've walked around downtown Vancouver in the Summertime, no doubt you've noticed the colourful chairs and tables set up at various locations. Thanks to the DVBIA-led Perch program, these bright and welcoming spaces are open to the public to enjoy lunch, to relax... and often to take part in fun community activities. Watch for ArtStarts at two Perches this August!

We invite you to join us for easy, fun and hands-on arts activities at two Perch locations this Summer.

What: ArtStarts Explores String! Discover how you can make creative images with string.
When: August 8, Noon to 2pm
Where: Lot 19 Mini Park, at West Hastings and Hornby

What: Pollinators at Cathedral Square! Make your own bee card and more.
When: August 29, Noon to 2pm
Where: Cathedral Square, 566 Richards Street at Dunsmuir
